Ari Brandt co-founded MediaBrix, the industry leading ad platform that delivers immersive brand messages during breakthrough moments in gaming, in 2011 and serves as the company’s CEO. He is a seasoned media executive and entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience building profitable digital businesses and advertising platforms.
Over the course of his career, Brandt has played a key role in launching and developing innovative brands and products for renowned media and advertising technology organizations.
Before founding MediaBrix, Brandt was the CEO at Linkstorm, an advertising technology company, where he led the company through consecutive years of triple-digit growth and global expansion. He has also worked as the head of digital media for Condé Nast Business Media Group and led the launch of Portfolio.com. Prior to Conde Nast, Brandt held management roles at prominent media and ad tech companies including Yahoo! and DoubleClick. He started his career working in media and account management at leading advertising agencies such as Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, Weiss Whitten Stagliano, and MVBMS/Euro RSCG.
Brandt regularly speaks at industry conferences and most recently has been a featured speaker at MediaPost’s OMMA Global, MediaPost’s Social Media Insider Summit and MIN Digital Media Summit. Additionally, he has contributed articles and been quoted in widely-read media outlets such as iMedia, AdWeek, Forbes, MediaPost and Digiday.
Brandt lives in Montclair, New Jersey with his wife and three children.
Jay Drago co-founded MediaBrix with Ari Brandt in May 2011 and serves as COO. Jay has over 15 years experience in the online advertising space. Prior, Jay co-founded smartclip, an online video network, and before that he was co-founder & CEO of ad network JOGO Media, where he delivered technology & sales solutions to the emerging in-game advertising space. Mr Drago has an extensive background in advertising technologies & operations and was previously the co-founder and GM of the AdServing company, Falk North America. During his tenure, he helped facilitate the sale of Falk N.A. to ad serving industry leader, Doubleclick inc.
Mr. Drago originally started his career in interactive advertising as the Director of Ad Operations for Katz- Millennium Marketing. During his tenure at Katz, he helped facilitate the merger of 2 other entities to form 24/7 Media, where for 4 years, he served as Vice President of Operations.
Todd Bowman joins MediaBrix with over 12 years of digital sales leadership experience. Todd began his career at DoubleClick now part of Google. He joins MediaBrix from appssavvy, where he was the SVP of Sales and responsible for increasing revenues by 5x during his tenure. Prior to appssavvy, Todd was with Condé Nast Digital Media where he served as West Coast Sales Director. Previously, Bowman served as the Los Angeles Director at Forbes.com. Before moving to the West Coast Todd was a Regional Sales Manager at Forbes.com in New York and a Director at Admarketplace a leading source of alternative search traffic.
Manny Berrios brings more than 19 years of online technology experience to MediaBrix. Before he joined the company, he was the Co-founder and Chief Technology Evangelist at Axle Digital, where he helped online retailers take advantage of advancements in social shopping; Chief Technology Officer for Adgregate Markets; and Co-founder and CTO at AdFast Media LLC, an agnostic GRID computing data delivery platform that could be used for high traffic/high volume distributive rich internet applications. Earlier in his career Mr. Berrios held CTO positions with Palisades Holdings; InTRUST Technologies; UGO Networks.
Stephen Krikelis joins MediaBrix with more than 10 years of experience in the digital advertising industry. He has a proven track record and expertise in digital advertising operations, sales and business development, product development, marketing and business operations. Prior to joining MediaBrix, Krikelis was the Vice President of Marketing and Operations at NimbleTV, an early-stage start-up, where he was responsible for marketing and operations. Before NimbleTV, he was the Senior Vice President of Operations at PulsePoint/ ContextWeb, a digital ad exchange, where he oversaw ad operations, business operations and RTB. Krikelis has also held positions at About.com and Thomson Financial.
Magali Merat is the Vice President of East Coast Sales and was promoted after a year of stellar performance covering both coasts as Executive Director of Sales. Before MediaBrix, Merat served as the Pacific Northwest Director of Sales at appssavvy. Previously, she also served as an Account Manager at Newsweek and other Time Inc. magazines. Merat has a proven track record of developing innovative digital, social and mobile advertising campaigns for top brands including T-Mobile, Microsoft, Intel, HP and dozens of others.
As Vice President of West Coast Sales, Michael Vos offers the most effective way to meet clients’ objectives and build exemplary in-game programs for leading brands. Prior to joining MediaBrix, Vos led sales at Kiip, where he ran innovative mobile executions for high-profile west coast brands and companies. Before that Vos served as Vice President of West Coast Sales at appssavvy. As a pioneer in a fast growing segment, Vos has executed a number of award-winning campaigns for both mobile and desktop and worked with recognized leaders such as Toyota, Sony, NBC Universal, Anthem Blue Cross, Nestle, Kraft and many more. Vos regularly speaks at industry conferences and events, most recently at Casual Connect, Digiday Mobile, GDC, IAB Case Study Roadshow and OMMA Mobile.
Art Santos has more than 15 years of global enterprise sales, business development and strategy experience, and a proven ability to penetrate emerging markets. Art joins MediaBrix from Kontagent, the leader in social gaming analytics, where he created and managed relationships with major game studios and media companies. Before that he held senior level sales and business development roles at gaming companies such as GameSpy and DemonWare.
Sandro Camarao comes to MediaBrix from Kenzan Media where as a Vice President, he worked on various interactive advertising and video products with leading MSOs. Before that he was VP Product Development & Co-founder at JOGO Media and before that was Senior Product Manager at FalkAG. His 13 year career in Product Developments also includes senior level positions with Cablevison, Gist Communications, Inc, and 24/7 Real Media.
Jaime Boyaca joined MediaBrix in May of 2011 as Director Technical Services , bringing 15 years of managerial, technical and creative experience. In 1999, Mr. Boyaca helped start blahblah.com, one of the first online publishers to use the network based model. Within two years, Mr. Boyaca designed and created one of the first rich media ad serving platforms that seamlessly interfaced with DoubleClick and 24/7 Media. In 2001 blahblah.com was acquired by UGO Entertainment, Inc. Mr. Boyaca served as Vice President, Technical and Creative Director at UGO Entertainment for ten years. During his tenure, Mr. Boyaca created a vast product suite, innovating and pioneering rich media ad formats that have become standard practice on the web today. In 2008, UGO Entertainment was acquired by Hearst Digital.
Ric Neil brings to MediaBrix over 20 years of business development experience in the gaming industry. He most recently held the position of Executive Producer at Glu mobile games in San Francisco, CA. Ric has worked at top companies in the gaming industry, including Playdom, the social games product group of Disney Interactive Media Group, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Konami and AMD. His role in gaming has ranged from Executive Producer to Director of Business Development, giving Ric a broad understanding of and expertise in mobile, web and platform video gaming markets, monetization models, opportunities and trends.
Aaron Feldon joined MediaBrix in January 2012 with over 10 years of finance experience working in the media & publishing industries. Aaron began his career at Simon & Schuster as a Financial Analyst. He joins MediaBrix from Condé Nast, where he was the Digital Finance Manager across all brands. Prior to Condé Nast, Aaron was with Time Inc, where he served as Finance Manager for This Old House Ventures, a multi-platform brand, serving print, digital and television needs. Previously, Aaron served as Senior Financial Analyst at Penguin Books.
