How to edit mobile version of WordPress site

There it is, after sweat, tears and hard work your WordPress website is finally finished, right?
 
But then you discover your website is not mobile responsive…
 
Elements are all over the place, images are covering the entire screen leaving the content nowhere to be found.
 
Now your left with the question: “How to edit mobile version of WordPress website?!”
 
I’ ll tell you how in 3 different places where you could/ should make you website mobile responsive. To give you a little spoiler, it’s pretty easy! 😉

Edit mobile version in the WordPress Customizer

To edit some mobile and/ or tablet repsonsive settings in your theme go to ‘Appearence’ > ‘ Customizer’.

Now select the mobile or tablet icon instead of the monitor.

You’ ll see that most of the changes you make after selecting a different icon, will only be for that device.
 
The changes made to settings with a little device icon behind, are only applied to that device.
 

Edit mobile version with Elementor

Pages build with Elementor have many editable features for mobile, tablet, and desktop. Most common ones are: text, margin and padding.
 
To view your page from another device click on the desktop icon below and choose the device you want to edit/ view. 
After being in this view, most of the changes you make will only for this device. This is also indicated with a little mobile or tablet icon!
 
It’s possible to hide/ show different sections, elements and columns for each device in Elementor.
 
  1. Go to Setting > Advanced (with the little cog) > Responsive
  2. Choose if you want to hide or show an element for mobile, tablet or dekstop

Edit mobile version with Beaver Builder

Optimizing Beaver Builder pages for mobile/tablet is pretty similar to Elementor.
 
Open the menu > Choose reponsive editing> pick a device you want to optimize.

Just like the others… Beaver Builder also shows a device icon for settings that will only adjust for that device.

You see, the answer to the question: “How to edit mobile verion of WordPress” is quite straightforward. The biggest challenge is to design it beautifully for each device.
